Mandy's Favorite Movie Music Moments

• Never Been Kissed
  Well, this is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. If you give me a better chick flick than this (besides maybe The Holiday), then you're my new best friend. This song is PERFECT for this moment! Honestly, and maybe it's just because I was a child, but I used to think this was such a strange song for this movie. It was...old. Why didn't they use something more modern? Hmm, maybe it's because modern music probably will never compare to this simplicity of "Don't worry, baby. Everything will turn out all right." Ahhh, and I die!
  "Sorry, I'm late. It took me forever to get here."
  "I know what you mean."
• Cruel Intentions
  This movie is incredibly melodramatic and pretentious, but goodness! It has the best ending ever. There's nothing sweeter (or bittersweeter, hehe) than a horrible person getting their comeuppance in the end. Also, there's nothing sweeter than getting the chance to use the word comeuppance in a sentence!
• A Walk to Remember
  Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. This scene is SO great! Who doesn't love montages? Especially montages with this spiffy song by the New Radicals? This song (Mother We Just Can't Get Enough) has become totally iconic to Leanne and I. We listen to it almost every time we're together. It's beyond awesome! And my favorite part of this epic montage? When Landon and Jamie pass each other in the hall and then they both look back. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  
• Love Actually
  There are some movies that just stand out from the rest. This is one of them. It's technically a Christmas movie, but I watch it pretty much all year round. This scene literally makes me burst into sobs every time I watch it. Wahhh. I want this moment. It gives me horribly unrealistic ideas about love.
• Romeo + Juliet
  Unfortunately, I couldn't find the actual scene, but this song slays me. It's during a scene where Romeo is just chillin' on the beach writing and smoking. And frack, Leo DiCaprio is one of those people who actually does make smoking look cool!
• Wicker Park
  This is a strange movie. A little underrated. But can we all just agree that The Scientist by Coldplay is one of the most beautiful songs ever sung, played, written? PS: I would suggest that if you haven't seen this movie, don't watch this video. It kind of ruins everything.
