At the moment, I'm listening to Death Cab's new album Codes and Keys. And so far, I love it. I've read a lot of reviews (by people who aren't actually critics) and most of them are very negative. If your favorite album by them is Plans, then yeah, you're not going to like it. It's a strange throwback to their older albums, a little bit of The Photo Album mixed with You Can Play These Songs With Chords. However, it's like an older, more mature version of those albums. I honestly can't explain it well. I really like Codes and Keys; within the first three seconds of piano chords, I knew this album was going to be amazing. If you want to have a listen, check out npr.org, they're streaming the entire album. Click here!
It's kind of exciting/ridiculous to think I don't have to go back to school until September. Also, I won't be going back to Crafton. I'll be heading to CSUSB, and for some strange reason, I'm really scared. CSUSB isn't Harvard, but it's going to be different, and I have this fear I'll fail at everything. Doubtful, I know. I know I'm being dramatic and freaking out for no reason. Eh, but I'm a girl. It happens.
El fin, for now. I'll be back. I promise.
