So, I kind of watched the funniest Disney Channel Original Movie last night. It was called My Babysitter's a Vampire, and it was about a babysitter...who was a vampire. What made it so funny? Its blatant mocking of the Twilight series, its constant references to Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica and frankly, its inappropriateness. Every five minutes, Cheryl and I looked at each other and basically wondered, "Are they allowed to show that on Disney channel?" I would recommend it for anyone who wants to have a good laugh, but only watch it with non-pretentious-snobs. (If I wrote it "non-pretentious snobs," it would sound like I meant watch it with people who aren't pretentious but who are still snobs...right?) Oh, Twilight addiction survivors should also watch it.
PS: Songs for the day:
"Futile Devices" by Sufjan Stevens
"Way Back Into Love" by Hugh Grant and Haley Bennett (from the movie Music & Lyrics)
"Super Bass" by Karmin (Youtube it; the original is sung by Nicki Minaj)
Edit:
The lyrics for "Company Calls Epilogue" by Death Cab are GENIUS. I kind of miss old/sappy/depressed Ben Gibbard.

A couple weeks ago I got to hear ALL about that movie from a bunch of my younger neices an nephews. They all took about a half hour to tell me everything about it. I'll have to tell them that you liked it just as much as them!
